Labor of Love - Prenatal Yoga Series

Prenatal Yoga is a great way to prepare for childbirth.


No previous experience necessary and open to all expecting mothers. Honor your mind, body, breath & baby. Prenatal yoga is one of the best things you can do for yourself and developing child. Increase stamina and strength, calm the nervous system, Relieves tension in the back, hips, chest, neck and shoulders and so much more! 


It’s no secret that yoga is one of the best things you can do for yourself. A prenatal yoga practice can not only relieve stress, but also contribute to a healthier pregnancy. Using gentle, safe, targeted exercises that can be practiced through all 3 trimesters. Prenatal yoga focuses on poses that strengthen & increase the flexibility of muscles used during childbirth, while also increasing stamina. Much like other types of childbirth preparation classes, prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental clarity,  & focusing on breathing.


Tips for a safe practice:

  • Be sure to speak with your health care provider before beginning any exercise program. 

  • Stay cool & hydrated

  • Work at your own pace, letting go of pushing & striving

  • Avoid eating an hour before you practice

  • Be verbal with your instructor on what you are feeling throughout your practice.
